Pie in the Sky
In 2010, St. Brigid’s Rest expanded with the acquisition of neighboring ‘Pie in the Sky’, the rustic c. 1913 former YWCA Lodge, Camp Rest-a-While.
A private patio behind the cabin off the kitchen affords visitors with an intimate experience of the flora and fauna of the Sacramento mountains. Deer and elk frequently browse through the mountainside at dawn and dusk. The spacious Great Room is an ideal location for up to a dozen people to gather for meetings, prayer and recreation. This room can also accomodate two additional guests' sleeping cots.
Boasting three bedrooms with two twin beds each and two full baths including a walk in steam shower and a generously outfitted kitchen, Pie in the Sky again offers respite, retreat and a base for recreation in the mountains.
